Dan, what are the specs for drilling and tapping the primary cover to accept the XB shifter? Sick of the boomerang...

So off hand I can't remember what the bolt size it is 5/16" maybe.
But after I did mine I found out you can uses the rear brake lever 1/4" bolt with spacer is the same size an fits in the xb lever and the CR brake lever also.
This way if messed up the treads in anyway you can go to the bigger original size if needed.
Don't drill any deeper then 3/4" tap it an put it on and if your drilling it on the bike.
Put it on stands makes it easier to keeping the drill level to get a nice straight hole an because of the soft metal take care when tapping the treads also that it go's straight in a miss a lined tap will follow that angle in soft metal.

Hey Dan, does your kit come with the outerwears filter cover? Also do you have a 45 and 48 jet on hand?
I have the Super boot already, just need to get the rest. In your opinion, do you like the cone or straight filter better?

No but I do sell outerwears filter for over the K&N filters.
I have all the main and pilot jets in stock.
The filters perform the same it's just a matter of choice you like the look of the cone or the straight.
An i have full kits minus the superboot.

I assume the leg clearance is the same for the cone or straight filters? I'm going to do this for my Blast at some point - we're moving this summer, and the elevation is 2K feet where we are going. The extra air flow from this setup should suit the bike perfectly with the current jetting (45/175/dynojet needle two clicks rich).

Do you sell the kits with "everything" (i.e. including superboot, etc.)?

    Cheers,
    Jay

p.s. I'm active over on Badweb...maybe my first post here...

    Welcome to the forum Jay.
What exhaust are you going to run with my intake?
An elevation doesn't start effect the bike until you go over 5k.
An yes my full kits come with everything you need to replace the stock intake except jets and shims.
Very little difference in clearance between the cone and the straight filters the cone is tucked in just alittle more because of the shape.

    Thanks,
    Dan
