A Jardine header and D&D Blast can is an awesome combo - with power rage from bottom end all the way to top end - when I was running that combo - I called it my poor man's Force because of the sound and power was really cool - I suspect that combination could last forever with proper painting upkeep to prevent rust - no packing needed - another plus, and it just looked cool. I gave it to a friend as a wedding gift, sorry no pics, but I had Terry's LSR header and the M2 supertrapp system, and the Force pipe and the Bub (my first - wasn't giving it up & I got the trashed V&H free from a friend in exchange for a new K&N filter), plus some V&H trash - so I had him drop his bike off, and did up his carb, airbox extreme mod and that exhaust and a fresh set of Pirelli's, and detailed the bike for a wedding gift for him and a silver cig and matching flask case filled with Humbolts finest fully rolled for her - with some fine coniac in the flask - lol.

What cracks me up is that is what Lee wants to build - lol - the exhaust can on the other hand is awesome and would last forever.

That pipe has your ideal id and length, and that can is even better than the Force reverse Meg - all pre-built and ready to go - lol - that should choke your beautiful XB fi head to back to almost Blast stock specs - there is a reason XB headers start at 1 3/4" - lol

Don't forget that a stock Blast header is 1.375" diameter.

    XB9 headers are 1.5" stock
    XB12 headers are 1.75" stock

Aftermarket headers are 1.75" and 2" respectively, banking on the people that go for top-end power. There's also a large amount of XB9 guys that prefer to keep the 1.5" stock header because of the torque loss when going to the larger pipe. I want a little of both, so I'm going in-between at 1.625" diameter header.

My engine is essentially half of an XB9 (stroke, bore, head, piston) so I should be plenty happy with any pipe between 1.5" and 1.75" until I either go overbore or stroke it.

I won't be choking it in the least.
