So far, I'm keeping the peg arms. I'm going to cut off everything around them so it's only the mounting surface. Seeing the picture, they flow well with the backbone.

The bottom mount for the subframe will be hidden behind the peg arms, and you can see where the top will mount. Gonna keep it naked and exposed, but have a black tray inside for the electronics.

Thats an R tail? - did you weld or bolt it on?

It will be bolted. I cant weld aluminum to steel.

In the pic, its just squished in there for positioning.
