The bolt in the third photo is the pin that holds the brake pads in.
So i just replaced my front wheel bearings and painted the wheel while i had it taken off. And in order to get the wheel off i had to take the rotor off because i think a previous owner may have sheared off the bolt that mounts the caliper to the bracket. The front side looks like a snapped bolt and the back of it is solid with no access point like there is for the other mounting bolt. Is this normal? Do i need to get the broken (or normal?) bolt out and replace it with a new one?
Please see pictures to understand what im talking about.
