    Default Throttle assist??

Anyone use a throttle assist on long rides? If so what would be the best ones? I went for a 4 hr ride the other day. Stopped to get gas and bs then right back to riding. Hands get a little tingling every now and then.

I don't use one, but have been thinking about it. I'd be interested in finding out as well. I've seen YouTube videos of people making their own.

I have seen them on ebay and other places. Just don't want one that might cause an issue or anything like that!

The problem I have is, I want a cruise control type, not just a palm rest - I think that is useless since you can stretch your fingers without one. I want to be able to move my arm, not just my fingers.

The throttle lock type is fine if I don't have to modify anything, but the canceling method is lacking and that makes me nervous.

Your on the same boat I am. I want to be able to put my arm on my leg or wave it around a little. Just don't know if the cancelling will stick or not.

I'm going to say it won't work if you have to move the reservoir because it will move your brake lever.

In fact, I know it won't work for me because I don't have any room to add anything to the bars - I shortened them as much as possible.

They make a cruise control barend type - but unless you mount it perfectly, you'll have issues down the road.
