Still lovin it. Sounds mean at idle, very very civil at cruise and lets loose in the topend.

I periodically get a check engine light that the muffler valve is stuck. I've gotten this since I got the bike. It's usually self correcting. When I run a test cycle with the bike off I can hear the muffler end squeak so I'm wondering if it's rather rough. I was trying to think of a way to lube it since I've already replaced the whole cable and valve actuator under the air box. Maybe some antiseize grease since that is rather heat tolerant? Opinions?

A small bit of info I figured out today

    0x0204 values
98 = NOT Cycle valve at ignition-on, NOT On in WOT only
99 = NOT Cycle valve at ignition-on, YES On in WOT only
D8 = YES Cycle valve at Ignition-on, NOT On in WOT only
D9 = YES Cycle valve at Ignition-on, YES On in WOT only

I think the 0x0204 is the check boxes in ECMDroids "Exhaust Setup" meaning there's 256 combinations, or values, for that byte.

Stumbled across this looking for something else, thought I'd weigh in...this is one of the best sounding mufflers I've heard on an XB.
