  2. Default Liquid cooled blast

So Im trying to figure out the possibilities of a liquid cooled blast. Routing the fluid around the jug and removing the unnecessary fins seems like work but not to difficult. I think the hard part will be the fuel pump. It needs to be directly connected to the crankshaft. Im thinking Im going to need to fab a new primary cover Im stuck on how to connect it to the crank. If using a gear then what ratio. Is there a way I can directly connect it. Another challenge will be figuring out the right pump to avoid over or under cooling. Another concern I have is a cooling route through the cylinder head. Ideas are very welcome.

This may be a lot more work than you're thinking. There are no water passages in the Blast cylinder or head.
Is there a reason that you want to add water cooling to the Blast?

Well to be honest Because I think it would be a fun challenge to get right. Also when Im all done I want my blast to be a track day bike. I understand there are no passages for the liquid to travel. But if I remove two fins for every one fin then I am starting to form my passage. Im still brainstorming how I want to do the head but am thinking a similar concept or drilling a passage. This will be hours of work so good thing I have a second engine to experiment on.

Someone liquid cooled an XB. He basically wrapped the jugs and lets water flow around them by means of electric pump.

Do similar to the head and you'd be in business. Just use some valves to adjust flow along with a thermostat to bypass.

I believe he used an electric pump. I don't know about the fins, he didn't share much info.
