Hi Colton,
Yes the spot you drill an tap is made for it.
Look at your primary right behind where the clutch cable go's in there's a round boss that's the same as the XB's have there's tapped in at.

Hey Dan, I'm a new buell rider and I'm liking a lot of your parts…one question I have though is for the rearsets. The area to tap into the primary, is it strong enought to withstand all of the shifting and not crack? Let me know thanks! -colton
